Nigeria: Startimes Unveils Nine New Channels, Free Viewership

Abuja — One of Nigeria's fast growing cable television service provider, StarTimes, has unveiled new channels, which its subscribers would enjoy free for seven days across all subscription bouquets in an open week programme commencing from November 10 through November 16.

The nine new channels, which have been carefully selected to enhance digital television experience for customers, include the brand new Wazobia TV and Cool TV, Da Vinci Learning, PoP TV, Trave Sport Stars, StarTimes Sport 2, Dadin Kowa, Tiwa Nwita and QYOU".

Briefing journalists in Abuja at the unveiling of the enhanced digital channels, the Public Relations Manager, Israel Bolaji, who spoke on behalf of the Managing Director noted that, "the launch of new channels is a bold step towards boosting overall digital television experience for over two million StarTimes subscribers and another clear demonstration and departure of Startimes preparedness to support and guide Nigerians from analogue into full digital television experience.
